Time of life Revelation
music - lyrics - voice and video by Clare Ann Matz
Video art – 2019 music, lyrics, voice by Clare Ann Matz A video-poem that narrates the all-important change in life of women facing menopause. Never spoken about, as if a stigmata, menopause is so massively life changing, and often in a devastating way, the multimedia artist Clare Ann Matz has dedicated this piece to the “time of life” , that regards all females on earth. Not all hope is lost, seems to say the video poem, because, as often happens with traumatic events in one’s life, when the body and soul dive into untold depths of fear, pain and all this in solitude… there can be light at the end of the tunnel! And once re-emerged, the new found force can be overwhelmingly creative, energizing, an epiphany!
